Copy URL

You can copy the URL of any selected remote file or folder via the following methods:

• Right click your item and choose Copy URL from the context menu
• Choosing Copy URL from the Edit Menu
• ⇧⌘C

Note: Transmit will use your Root URL and Remote Path settings to generate the URL in question. Make sure you’ve set both the Root URL and Remote Path in your connection settings.

Copy Path

Copying the path of the selected item in question is very similar to Copy URL. Any of the following methods will copy the path rather than the URL.

• Choose Copy from the Edit Menu
• ⌘C

Tip: If you’d like to change the Keyboard Shortcut for Either Copy Path or Copy URL, you can override these in System Settings ➜ Keyboard ➜ Keyboard Shortcuts ➜ App Shortcuts.
