In Prompt 3 we’ve added the ability to utilize custom fonts of your choosing in the terminal. The slightly difficult part is getting the font onto your iOS device. 😇

To start, you’ll need to install a third-party font management app from the App Store, such as iFont.

After using the app to install your font of choice, it will be accessible in Prompt from “Settings > Theme > Terminal Font”.

Please note: Only monospaced will appear in Prompt. If after installing your font it isn’t showing as expected in Prompt’s settings, please double check to make sure the font is monospaced.

Can I use custom fonts without installing an additional app?

Prompt doesn’t yet include a way to install font files, but we may consider adding this functionality in a future update.
